 Reading news like this really makes me happy because it demonstrates that the publisher and devs value us gamers who actually spend the time to legitimately work our way through the game and enjoy it, instead of exploiting it for cash or other illegal transactions. I had read a lot about this eBay farming issue lately and I'm glad they're actively shutting down these accounts. I hope they keep up the pressure and eliminate more of these bots as well.

Arena Net doesn't have to prove anything to us. It's not our account it's not our business and we don't have any right to it. It is their choice whether or not they choose to lay out the evidence to the person that owned the account. Should the person that owned the account wish to take legal action, then it stands to reason the evidence will be shown in Arena Net's defense. However, anyone going that far for a $50.00 game...
Addition: IMO I would bet they've banned many many more accounts linked to eBay. We simply don't hear about them. |
